Shutter Basics

Elmar’s one day course authorizes dealers to sell Heritance^®, Palm Beach™ and NewStyle^® Hybrid Shutters. Installers who attend will be certified as Apprentice installers. The tuition can apply towards attendance at the 3-day installer school. This 8 hour course covers:

• Hunter Douglas shutter overview
• Features and benefits of selling/installing shutters 
• Choosing frame applications, panel configurations, divider rails and T-posts
• Measuring for framed shutters in rectangular openings 
• Learning to use the shutter order forms to communicate with customer service
• How to install outside mount L frame shutters 

Who should attend: dealers who want to be authorized to sell shutters. Installers who want to be certified as Apprentice installers.
